James J. Vandeleur

Physics PhD student.

Hello!

I'm a physicist working on my PhD at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia.

At the moment, I'm interested in questions regarding the fundamental content of the universe and how high energy physics in the early universe lead to the structure we have today. I spend most of my time thinking about neutrinos and flavour physics - see my research for more.

I also teach in various capacities, enjoy playing my trumpet, and find great enjoyment in hobby electronics!*

SciComm

Just as great conductors are first and foremost great musicians, the greatest science communicators are first and foremost great scientists.

I see science communication as an intrinsic part of being a scientist and is a skill I have begun to and hope to continue to develop throughout my whole career.
